What is Telephone Counselling?

Telephone Counselling is just like having a face-to-face counselling session except you’re talking to a trained counsellor over the phone.
You can arrange counselling sessions whenever it is convenient for you.  Merseyside Counsellor can provide specialist counselling in a wide range of issues.


How to book a Telephone Counselling appointment
Contact us on 0796 929 1302. Monday –Sunday (excluding Bank Holidays).
We will organise a suitable time, including evenings and weekends.  Payment will be taken via a debit/credit card, so please have your card to hand when calling.
If you would like to book another appointment, you can agree a date and time with your counsellor at the end of your call.  Otherwise, you can call to make the arrangements.


Charges
£30 per hour is the standard charge.
The standard charge is based on calls to UK landlines (including calls to mobiles). For further information, please contact us. What is Merseyside Counsellor Online Counselling Service?

The Merseyside Counsellor Online Counselling Service enables you to work with a counsellor online using Skype, Face-time (iPad), Live Chat or Secure Email. This has been the answer for many people for well over a decade or more. 

A fully trained counsellor will work with you for as long as you need help, and we will send each reply to you within 4 working days of receiving it.
To use this service you must be over 18 years of age.
Charges
It costs £25.00 for each email  - the reply you get from your counsellor is the equivalent of an hour's counselling face to face. The advantage is that you will be able to access the full text whenever you want to. You will probably want to think in terms of at least four email exchanges with your counsellor. However, each reply will be helpful in itself, and it is for you to decide how much help you want.
What do I do next?
You need to click the Buy Now Button in the right column. You will then be sent an email within 24 hours asking you for some information about the problem you are currently struggling with. Please also see the terms and conditions.

How will I get my reply?
Your reply will be delivered to your e mail address –so do make sure that you are the only person who can access that address. You might want to set up a new email address so that you can be sure it will be private.

Safety
If you are being hurt or you are afraid for your safety or your children's safety, using the online service may not be your best option, but we may be able to help you increase your safety and get individual specialist support. If you are currently at risk, then it will probably be better to access help from Women's Aid or Men's Advice Line.
